Working Heating

If you are working Heating (Volunteer Shift) it is important that you have both the sets of Heat Sheets. As you will be responsible for lining up the kids as they arrive but are organized by the heads and events in order of the meet. As kids are arriving at the tents, you need to take attendance to ensure all our swimmers have arrived for their age group. If there is a “no show” to the meet or you are missing a swimmer when the age group is ready to swim, the Heating Volunteer must contact the coaches if a chage needs to be made. make changes.

There will be two swimmer meet sheets on the heating volunteers clipboard. They have the same information just different sort.

  • The 1st Sheet will be by Swimmers Name and their Events (This is best for taking attendance and using to mark swimmers events)
  • The 2nd Sheet will be by Event and swimmers (This is best for getting your swimmers together for the Event /Heat they are swimming in)
