Volunteering: The Heartbeat of Summer Swim!

Hey Dolphins Families!

Did you know our summer swim team is powered by an incredible team of volunteers? From parents and caregivers to dedicated members of the Mile High Swim League (MHSL), volunteers help keep costs affordable and make every meet and event possible. Simply put, we can't have a successful season without you!

Whether you're a returning swim parent or brand new to the sport, your help makes a difference. Since you're already at the meet supporting your swimmer, volunteering is a great way to contribute while still enjoying the action poolside.

Volunteer Commitment

• All families are required to complete their seasonal volunteer commitment (typically 5 shifts per family; 2 shifts for LTS-only families).
• Volunteer shifts can be completed during our 4 seasonal meets.
• If your swimmer participates in Prelims, Championships, or All-Stars, your family is also expected to volunteer at least one shift at those events.

Sign-Ups & Scheduling

• Volunteer opportunities are available through the team's online sign-up system and are assigned on a first-come, first-served basis.
• Families who have not selected a shift by the Friday before a meet may be assigned one.
• If you cannot work a scheduled shift, you are responsible for finding a replacement at least 24 hours before the meet.

Meet Day

• Volunteers should check in between 7:15–7:45 AM and pick up their name tag.
• A variety of roles are available, including timing, concessions, setup/breakdown, and other meet operations.

Important Reminders

• Volunteer commitments apply regardless of how many meets your swimmer attends.
• Relatives or caregivers who regularly attend meets may be registered as volunteers.
• Please help us maintain a positive, respectful, and family-friendly environment for all swimmers, coaches, and families.

End-of-Season Volunteer Deposit

Families who complete their volunteer commitment will have their $200 volunteer authorization released. Families who do not fulfill their commitment will be charged the $200 fee.
