PRACTICE STARTED

Practices will begin after school at 4:30pm 5/18-5/21 for Levels 3&4 Only. NO DRY LAND PRACTICE FRIDAY 5/22. While in-water practices will start Tuesday 5/26 at 7:30am. We understand that the end of May can be a challenging time for many of our Dolphins families due to varying school schedules across districts. If your swimmer can attend practices during this time, that’s wonderful. If not, no worries - we completely understand and look forward to seeing them once school is out.

Tuesday 5/26/2026 - Morning Practice Schedule (Post School Season):

• 7:30 AM – 8:30 AM: Experienced (White Level 3 / Blue Level 4)
• 8:30 AM – 9:05 AM: White Level 2 / Learn to Swim (Green Level 2)
• 9:10 AM – 9:45 AM: Learn to Swim (LTS) Little Dolphins Level 1
• 9:45 AM – 10:45 AM: Experienced (White Level 3 / Blue Level 4)

LTS Learn To Swim “Little Dolphins”
Practice begins Tuesday 5/26! We encourage Learn to Swim (LTS) kids can participate in the meets if they choose to (usually later in the season and there are interns in the water). We highly encourage our LTS Swimmers to attend team meets to see what they are all about. As a reminder LTS families have 2 volunteer shift requirements for the season.WC3 Team Store is OPEN!! First Meet of the season is WC1 Barracudas vs WC3 Dolphins. The Willow Creek I Barracudas are excited to host you for the first meet of the season. Tips for Your First Meet

The first meet can feel overwhelming for many families!! Here are some tips for what and how to prepare your swimmer (and yourself!):

• Dress in layers! Your swimmer will likely need everything from sweats after morning warm up, to a cover up and hat as the weather heats up.
• Speaking of the sun... be sure to pack plenty of sunscreen (reapply after every race), hats, and cover ups to avoid damage from our beautiful Colorado sun.
• Pack healthy snacks and bring cash for the concession stand.
• Stay hydrated!!!!!
• NO DOGS per health department rules and regulations allowed in pool gated area.
• Bring camp chairs, a blanket to spread out, and a shade tent or umbrella if you have one.
• Most importantly... Have fun! Please reach out to your child's coach or one of the parent reps if you have any questions or concerns.

The season is coming in HOT… and so are our meets.
Sound the whistles, stretch the hamstrings, and cue the dramatic walk‑up music because the first MHSL swim meet hits the blocks on May 30th. That means the countdown is officially ON — and it’s time to rally the troops.

• We need officials.
• We need backup officials.
• We need backup‑to‑the‑backup officials because summer is wild and unpredictable and someone’s always at a baseball tournament, a wedding, or mysteriously “not feeling well” after a BBQ.
