MHSL Notice - 1st Meet Saturday - Last Minute Training Sessions
The first MHSL meet of the season is THIS SATURDAY, and the energy is building like a heat sheet before finals.
Grab your whistles, stretch your quads, and channel your inner “I’ve got this” — because it’s time to rally your teams.
Summer is unpredictable.
Kids teleport between activities.
Someone always forgets they volunteered.
And a parent will absolutely swear they “thought they signed up already.”
This is why we build a deep, certified, ready‑to‑roll bench.

FRIENDLY REMINDER: TWO IMPORTANT DEADLINES THURSDAY
Not scary. Not harsh. Just the truth so no one misses out.
Online Recertification — Closes Thursday
If someone still needs to recertify online, now’s the time — and remember, you must have two full years of officiating experience to take the recertification tests. If you don’t meet that requirement, you’ll need to attend one of the virtual or in‑person training sessions instead.

USA Swimming Reciprocity — Closes Thursday
USA Swimming officials can still submit credentials to be added to the MHSL list. Click here to submit your credentials.
CRITICAL REMINDER — PLEASE SHARE THIS WITH YOUR TEAMS
If a parent is not on the 2026 Certified Officials List, they are not certified.
Even if they took a clinic.
Even if they “did it last year.”
Even if they swear they emailed someone.
If uncertified officials work a meet, the meet will NOT count for the kids.
We never want a swimmer’s time thrown out because we were missing certified officials.
This is why we push so hard this week — it protects the athletes. Please make sure that you have reviewed your certified officials.
Hosting Your Own S&T Clinic?
Tell me!
I’ll send the Clinic Sign‑In Sheet so your attendees get added to the official list.
No one gets missed. Everyone gets credit.
WHY WE NEED ALL THE OFFICIALS
Because summer is chaos.
Because swimmers deserve a fair, fast, fully staffed meet.
Because a deep bench = smooth sailing.
Because your teams are rockstars when they rally.
LET’S DO THIS, MHSL.
Clipboards up. Spirits high.
We launch this season together — strong, certified, and ready.
